Spirited is a three channel film installation, using 16mm projectors and screens. It evokes how the traces of the past continue to inhabit preserved museum archives now functioning as Florida tourist destinations. Places include the Ted Smallwood Store, the Koreshan Settlement and the Pine Island Calusa Trail. Different voices tentatively and imaginatively describe photographs of these places 100 years ago.
